SAPS to monitor Mahikeng

Friday, May 11, 2018

The South African Police Service has called on communities in Mahikeng to remain calm but cautious today.

This follows a message circulating through social media platforms that there will be a shutdown in the North West town today.

The message that solicits support from local taxi associations, also causes uncertainty and fear as it vows to also get rid of foreign nationals selling drugs.

“Members of the community are requested to remain calm but cautious. Police presence will be maintained to monitor the situation,” North West Police said. – SAnews.gov.za
