Pretoria - President Jacob Zuma has wished Bafana Bafana well as the team departs for Sierra Leone on Friday to compete in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Zuma said the "entire rainbow nation is behind you as always, and will be donning their Bafana Bafana jerseys on the day in full support".
"We all appreciate that it may not be easy as it is an away game, but we trust that you will show your mettle even in unfamiliar territory," Zuma said.
Bafana Bafana play their second leg match against Sierra Leoni in Freetown on Sunday.
