Bafana to clash against Zim

Pretoria - Locally based Bafana Bafana players are set to build on their winning performance when they clash against Zimbabwe in an international friendly match tonight in Durban.

Last Saturday, the thrashed Swaziland 6-2 in a friendly practice match played at Chatsworth Stadium.

The players will use tonight's match to win the heart of head coach Carlos Alberto Parreira in order to be part of the 23-man squad that will represent the country during the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

The match, which is being used as preparation for the soccer world cup by Parreira will be played at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, and kick-off is at 8:30pm.

Tonight's match is far from a walk-over encounter for Bafana Bafana as the Warriors head coach, Sunday Chidzambwa might use Premier Soccer League players such as Esrom Nyandoro of Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs players Thomas Sweswe, Tinashe Nengomashe, Knowledge Musona and Zhaimu Jambo.
