Pretoria - The man, arrested in connection with the shooting of a three-year-old boy and a man, in Westbury, is expected to appear in the Sophiatown Magistrate's Court, this morning.
Luke Tibbetts was travelling with his mother when the 24-year-old man started shooting in the suburb, west of Johannesburg, on Saturday evening. The boy is currently in a critical condition and on life support in hospital.
The 26-year-old man travelling in the area was also hit by stray bullets. He was treated for the shot in his arm and discharged.
People who witnessed the shooting identified the 24-year-old man and reported him to police who arrested him.
No firearms were recovered and the motive is not yet known. - SAnews.gov.za
