Special Provincial Official Funeral for Moses Duma

President Cyril Ramaphosa has approved the request by the North West Provincial Government for the late Ndleleni Moses Duma to be accorded a Special Provincial Official Funeral (Category 2). 

The funeral will take place on Saturday at Ikageng stadium in Potchefstroom from 07h00. 

North West Premier Tebogo Job Mokgoro will deliver a eulogy at the funeral service. 

In line with the Special Provincial Official Funeral, the President has ordered that the National Flag be flown at half-mast at all flag posts in the North West Province on the day of Duma’s funeral service.  

Duma, who passed away last Friday after a long illness, has been described as a humble, disciplined and selfless leader who made a significant contribution and distinguished himself in his service to the people of South Africa and the North West Provincial Government in particular. 

At the time of his passing, 60-year-old Duma was a Member of the Provincial Legislature. – SAnews.gov.za
