The RTMC said deceased have not yet been identified.

“The RTMC will be working with other law enforcement authorities in the province to investigate the cause of the crash. The bus is believed to have been transporting members of the ANC from Ekurhuleni.”

The RTMC has sent its condolences to the families of the deceased.

“Sympathies are also extended to those who have been injured and to the ANC as a whole, especially the Gauteng province and Ekurhuleni regional leadership.” – SAnews.gov.za
