Ritual killing suspects remanded in custody

Pretoria - Three people arrested on Saturday for a suspected ritual killing of a woman in Eltivillas in Makhado, Limpopo, have been remanded in custody after appearing at the local magistrate court this morning.

The suspects, Freddy Tshikhudo Nethengwe (38), and couple Musaisso Patel (60) and Hassinah Patel (62), are expected to appear in court again on 15 April 2013 for formal bail application.

Meanwhile, the body of the murdered woman has not yet been identified. Police are appealing to members of the public who have a female member missing to contact them.

The victim is described as a female of Asian or Indian descent, between the age of 30 and 35, with medium black hair, teeth in good condition, wearing a grey pair of trousers, white socks and a red brassiere.

The deceased is suspected to be from Durban.  Anyone with new information is requested to contact Captain Tshinyadzo Ndou at 082 807 2666.
