President to meet judiciary, legislature heads

Pretoria - President Jacob Zuma is today expected to host a meeting with the head of the judiciary and heads of the legislature in Cape Town.

The Presidency on Tuesday said the President will host a meeting in his capacity as Head of State.

“The President will meet with the Speaker of the National Assembly Baleka Mbete, National Council of Provinces Chairperson Thandi Modise and the head of the judiciary Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng.

“The meeting of the arms of the State is aimed at further strengthening working relations and cooperation,” said the Presidency.

On 27 August, the President hosted a meeting with the judiciary to discuss matters that had been of concern to them. - SAnews.gov.za
