Thursday, January 22, 2015

Pretoria – The Presidency says it has proposed the date of 11 March 2015 for President Jacob Zuma to answer questions in the National Assembly.

“The President engages Parliament around this time each year when finalising the President's first quarter schedule. We confirm that we have indeed written to the National Assembly proposing the date of 11 March 2015 for the first quarter question time,” said the Presidency on Wednesday.

The Presidency said it had received media enquiries following a proposal that it had sent to the National Assembly in relation to the President's first quarter question time.

“As usual, the National Assembly will provide feedback and preparations will begin once the date is confirmed by Parliament,” the Presidency said. – SAnews.gov.za
