Pretoria - Eskom has restored power to three large power users in Zuurbekom, Gauteng.

“This follows an unplanned power supply interruption which affected the Rand Water Board Pumps, Zuurbekom rural and the SAR Midway signal feeders earlier yesterday.

"The supply to the two transformers and the three above-mentioned feeders has been restored. The Zuurbekom substation has been normalised,” said the power utility on Monday.

Eskom said it remains committed to ensuring that customers have a continuous supply of electricity.

The power utility urged customers to report any illegal connections or power outages to the Eskom contact Centre on 08600 37566 or text (SMS) your query and account number/meter number to 35328.

Eskom is progressing well with the maintenance of its power generating plant whilst supplying the country’s electricity needs. – SAnews.gov.za
