Mosimane to announce squad to face Ghana

Pretoria - Bafana Bafana head coach, Pitso "Jingles" Mosimane is expected to announce the team that will face the Black Stars of Ghana in a friendly match to be played at Soccer City on August 11 on Thursday.

South African Football Association (Safa) CEO, Leslie Sedibe, said the team will be based at the Southern Sun Grayston hotel in Sandton, but will train at Wits University's Sturrock Park.

Mosimane is expected to use most of the World Cup squad against Ghana who is ranked second in Africa and 23 in the World.

Tickets for the friendly match went on sale last Friday at Computicket and Shoprite Checkers Stores. Tickets cost R100 and kick-off time is 20:35.

Safa director of communications, Morio Sanyane could not confirm if soccer fans will be using the Park and Ride system to the soccer match.

"We still have to engage the City of Joburg on the use of Rea Vaya buses on the match day, but we know that Metrorail always transports soccer fans to match venues," he said.
