Limpopo Treasury offers 2010 study bursaries

Pretoria - Limpopo Provincial Treasury is offering full-time study bursaries in the accounting, finance and Information Technology fields for the 2010 academic year.

The study bursaries aim to address the skills gap in Accounting, B Com Economics, B Com Financial Management, B Com Internal Auditing among others.

The bursary covers registration and tuition fees, boarding and lodging at university residence and those recommended by the university.

Interested students from Limpopo only, should intend to study or be studying at the University of Pretoria, Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, Tshwane University of Technology, Vaal University of Technology and the University of Limpopo.

Application forms are available at the Treasury offices in Polokwane, District offices in Vhembe, Mopani, Sekhukhune and Waterberg.

Students are requested to accompany their application form with a letter of motivation, provisional admission letter from the university and certified copies of their recent examinations results.

They should also include a copy of parent/guardian's income/salary advice and/or Affidavit from the Commissioner of Oaths or Justice of the Peace as well as certified copies of Identity Documents (ID).

Academic achievement, merit and financial need will guide the awarding of bursaries.
