Pretoria – Freedom Park is for the fourth time in a row exhibiting its products at the Mangaung African Cultural Festival (MACUFE) which is currently taking place in Bloemfontein.
The heritage site, which is located in Pretoria, will be sharing information with guests on the significance of Freedom Park on South African history, culture and spirituality.
“Freedom Park was established to, amongst other things, commemorate the heroes and heroines who sacrificed their lives for freedom and humanity, build a socially cohesive nation united in its diversity,” Freedom Park acting CEO Jane Mufamadi said.
Visitors at the festival will discover that Freedom Park caters for the needs of both local and international communities.
“Apart from creating awareness, informing, educating and motivating the visitors about Freedom Park, the outreach unit, will host special official guests from the office of the Free State Premier, and other community stakeholders to discuss about Freedom Park’s outreach programme in the Free State,” Freedom Park said.
Books on Freedom Park content, educational brochures and many other promotional materials will be distributed from the stall, which is on Park Street.
Freedom Park will exhibit its products at the festival until 11 October. – SAnews.gov.za
