Pretoria - Three suspects accused of the murder of UK tourist, Anni Dewani, will appear in court next week after the case against them was postponed on Monday at the Wynberg regional court.

The driver of the hijacked vehicle, Zola Tongo, together with Mziwamadoda Qwabe, 25, and Xolile Mngeni, 23, has been charged with murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances and kidnapping.

National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson, Eric Ntabazilila, said the case was postponed for further investigation.

Anni Dewani and her husband Shrien were honeymooning in the Western Cape when they were allegedly hijacked while travelling to Gugulethu in a shuttle taxi.

Shrien Dewani was apparently forced out of the vehicle. Anni Dewani's body was discovered on the back seat of the vehicle in Lingelethu West the next day.

Police are remaining tight-lipped about reports they are searching for a fourth suspect.
