Motlanthe to travel to Sweden

Pretoria - Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe will on Thursday travel to Sweden for an official working visit, according to the Presidency

During the two-day visit, the Deputy President will hold Bi-National Commission (BNC) meetings with the government of Sweden and attend the Olof Palme Day Conference, to be held in Stockholm.

In September, President Jacob Zuma hosted Swedish Prime Minister Frederik Reinfeldt in which he said the attention Sweden pays to Africa was greatly appreciated particularly when coming to poverty reduction, trade and the environment.-
