Bangkok - A report from the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation has confirmed that 814 406 people have been affected and 15 have died in floods in Thailand during October.
According to the report there are 284 389 families inundated as well as 136 districts suffered by floodwaters.
The death toll is highest in central Lopburi province and Northeastern Burirum province where four locals died.
It was additionally reported that one villager had gone missing in Northeastern Nakorn Ratchasima province.
Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva on Thursday morning visited people suffering from the flooding in the central province of Lop Buri.
The flood water have affected 21 provinces in Northern, Northeastern, Eastern and Central areas across the country including Phichit, Chainat, Suphanburi, Angthong, Ayutthaya, Rayong, Trat, Sa Kaew, Nakhon Ratchasima, Prachin Buri, Lop Buri, Nakhon Sawan, Chaiyabhum, Saraburi, Petchabun, Nakhon Nayok, Si Sa Ket, Tak, Surin, Buri Ram and Khon Kaen.
