Pretoria - President Jacob Zuma has wished struggle stalwart Winnie Madikizela-Mandela a speedy recovery following her admission to hospital.
"We wish Mama Winnie a speedy recovery. We also urge the nation to keep her and the Mandela family in their thoughts and prayers during this time," said President Zuma in a statement on Saturday.
According to the Presidency, Madikizela-Mandela -- a stalwart and courageous heroine of the South African struggle for liberation -- is in a stable condition in hospital.
It had been reported that Madikizela-Mandela had been hospitalised for complications arising from surgery. – SAnews.gov.za
