Pretoria – Two alleged robbers are expected to appear in the Mitchells Plain Magistrate’s Court on Monday on charges of armed robbery.

The two, aged 37 and 38, were arrested on Friday at the headquarters of a well-known security company in Milnerton, Cape Town, for their involvement in a cash-in-transit robbery.

Last month, in Mitchells Plain, a cash van was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money after its crew and driver were accosted by an unknown number of suspects.

The robbers also stole firearms but no one was injured during the robbery. – SAnews.gov.za
