Pretoria - Two suspects arrested for drug dealing will appear in court on Monday, said the Hawks.
The two were arrested in two separate incidents. In the first incident, a sting operation led by the Hawks led to a 41-year-old suspect at a house in a plush Centurion estate and a self-storage unit in Valley View, where heroin and cocaine rocks weighing 1.3kg were found.
In Thursday’s arrest, bank statements reflecting transactions ranging from R100 000 to R200 000 on a weekly basis were also seized during the operation.
In the second incident, a 39-year-old was arrested at OR Tambo International Airport following a tip-off. The man was caught with cocaine worth R2.5 million.
The suspects will appear at the Pretoria and Kempton Park Magistrates’ Courts respectively. – SAnews.gov.za
