The Bi-National Commission (BNC) established in 2004 to promote political, economic and social cooperation between South Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), will take place on Tuesday.

The Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Lindiwe Sisulu is expected to travel to Kinshasa on Sunday for the Ministerial Meeting in preparation for the 11th Session of the BNC.

“Since the establishment of the BNC, the two countries have strengthened their bilateral cooperation in various fields such as diplomatic cooperation, public service and administration, defence and police,” said the Department of International Relations on Sunday.
