Portfolio committee saddened by passing away of Gauteng MEC

Pretoria - The Portfolio Committee on Economic Development had expressed its heartfelt condolences to the families of Gauteng MEC for Economic Development Nkosiphendule Kolisile, his driver and bodyguard, who passed away in a car accident on Saturday.

“As the Committee, we are saddened to hear about the untimely death of Mr Kosile whom we had excellent working relations and we were looking forward to meeting him next week during our oversight visit to Gauteng.

“Thus, we would like to convey our sincere condolences to the families and friends of Mr Kosile, his driver and bodyguard and the entire Gauteng Provincial Government,” said Committee Chairperson, Mmathulare Coleman.  

Coleman described Kosile as a humble and remarkable hard worker who was always supportive to the work of the Committee to ensure economic development in the country. – SAnews.gov.za
