Pretoria - Johan Kotze, the man accused of killing his stepson and ordering casual workers to sexually assault his estranged wife, has been arrested.

After being on the run for a week, police on Wednesday tracked down and arrested Kotze in Modimolle, Limpopo where the incident occurred.

Police spokesperson Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said Kotze was arrested at 11.45am on a street in the town.

He is expected to appear in court soon.

Kotze alleged forced three workers to rape his estranged wife. He also allegedly shot and killed the woman's son.

Earlier on Wednesday, police also arrested a 42-year-old man, who was allegedly forced to take part in the attack on the woman, in Makapanstad near Hammanskraal, Mulaudzi said.

Police are still searching for the other two men.
