Pretoria - The hearing for the formal postponement of sentencing proceedings in the Oscar Pistorius matter will be heard in the Gauteng Division of the High Court, Pretoria, this morning.
Deputy Judge President of the Gauteng Division of the High Court, Judge Aubrey Ledwaba, will be presiding over the brief appearance of Pistorius.
Pistorius is currently on parole, under house arrest, after serving jail time for culpable homicide - but that judgment was changed to murder last week, on appeal.
Last year, Judge Thokozile Masipa convicted Pistorius of culpable homicide and sentenced him to five years in jail after he shot and killed his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, on Valentine’s Day in 2013.
He was released on parole in October, after serving less than a year of his sentence. – SAnews.gov.za
