Media release from the Office of the Surgeon General on President Zuma's planned Surgical Procedure

The Office of the Surgeon General in the South African Military Health Services wishes to confirm that President Jacob Zuma underwent a planned minor surgical procedure to one of his eyes today, 1st of September in Durban.

"His condition is excellent and he should make a full recovery within the next few days. It is most likely that he would be ready for State business from tomorrow onwards" said the Surgeon General, Lieutenant General Vejayn Indurjith Ramlakan (Dr).
