Pretoria – Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs MEC Nomusa Dube-Ncube says the sudden passing of Inkosi Ziwengu Saul Lushaba of the Lushaba clan in the uGu district of the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast, is a loss to the province.
“Inkosi was a leader deeply devoted to the upliftment of his people, not just the community where he led but he was also expressly exemplary in the entire uGu local house and the provincial house as a whole.
“The entire world of traditional leadership and communities has suffered a gaping wound from the loss of this key steward in the person of iNkosi Lushaba,” said MEC Dube-Ncube.
She conveyed her heartfelt condolences to the family on behalf of the provincial government of KwaZulu-Natal.
“To the family of iNkosi Lushaba, we say that we are with you in this darkest of hours. But most importantly, God is with you; he is your pillar of strength in this time of weakness.”
