Derek Hanekom has been reappointed as Tourism Minister by President Cyril Ramaphosa following a Cabinet reshuffle last night.
Hanekom served as the Minister of Tourism for nearly three years before being replaced in March last year by former President Jacob Zuma.
He was appointed as the Minister of Tourism on 26 May 2014.
Hanekom, who takes over from former Minister Tokozile Xasa, previously served as the Minister of Science and Technology from October 2012 - 2014.
Xasa has been moved to the portfolio of Sports and Recreation. – SAnews.gov.za
