Gautrain bus drivers to strike

Pretoria - Gautrain bus drivers will down tools on Monday after a wage dispute with the management.

The Bombela Concession Company said the strike is illegal and it will do all it can to resolve the matter.

"The extent of the service disruption is unclear at this stage but bus passengers are advised to make alternative arrangements for Monday to avoid possible inconvenience. Train services remain unaffected," Bombela said in a statement.

Efforts to resolve the strike are ongoing and the company wishes to sincerely apologize to its customers for the inconvenience resulting from this illegal industrial action.
