President Cyril Ramaphosa on Friday expressed his condolences at the passing of Limpopo Agriculture MEC Joyce Mashamba.
“On behalf of the people and government of South Africa, we express our sincere condolences to the Mashamba family and friends for their loss,” said President Ramaphosa.
Mashamba held various portfolios in the Limpopo administration. She was the former MEC of Education, Safety, Security and Liaison; Sport, Arts and Culture, and Social Development in Limpopo.
She was also a member of the Executive Committee on Social Development in the Limpopo Provincial Legislature.
At the time of her passing, she was responsible for the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in the province, a position she held since February 2018. - SAnews.gov.za
