Pretoria - President Jacob Zuma has extended his heartfelt condolences on the passing of former Congress of South African Students (COSAS) president, Sandra Baloyi.
Baloyi was the first young woman to be elected as the president of the African National Congress (ANC) associated learner organisation, Cosas, which operates in schools across the country.
“The passing of this young, energetic and gifted leader is a painful loss not only to her family but to the country as a whole. We wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to the Baloyi family. May her soul rest in peace,” said the President.
Baloyi came from Moleketla village outside Tzaneen in Limpopo. She was president of Cosas from 2014 until August 2015. - SAnews.gov.za
