Cabinet Committee meetings continue

Wednesday, February 7, 2018

The Presidency says routine Cabinet Committee meetings are continuing in Parliament this morning.

President Jacob Zuma is chairing the meetings.

“The Cabinet Committees sitting today include the Economic Sectors, Employment and Infrastructure Development (ESEID) and the International Cooperation, Trade and Security (ICTS).  A routine Cabinet meeting will take place next week,” said the Presidency in a statement.

The Cabinet Committee meetings take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays to process matters that will be taken to Cabinet.

They are attended by both Ministers and Deputy Ministers while Cabinet meetings are attended by Ministers only.

Yesterday, the Presidency said there is nothing unusual or extraordinary about the meetings. The schedule was finalised last year. – SAnews.gov.za
