Pretoria - The South African Football Association (SAFA) is still in talks with the Bulgarian Football Association in an effort to secure an international friendly match for Bafana Bafana on May 24.

SAFA's director of communications, Morio Senyane, said: "We've not yet signed a contract finalising the friendly match between Bafana Bafana and the Bulgarian national team, but negotiations are on.".

Senyane said two international friendly matches had been confirmed for the 2010 FIFA World Cup host nation before their opening match against Mexico on June 11 at Soccer City.

He said Bafana Bafana will test their strength against Colombia on May 27, before they play against Denmark on June 5 in venues yet to be announced.

Bafana were scheduled to take on China while at their training camp in Germany recently. SAFA and Bafana's head coach, Carlos Alberto Parreira, have since expressed their disappointment about the team opting out.

SAFA CEO Leslie Sedibe has since opted to take up the matter with FIFA
