Eskom to install mini sub-station in Soweto

Pretoria - Eskom plans to install an additional mini sub-station in Diepkloof Zone 1 in Soweto.

Eskom has been experiencing power supply interruptions in the area due to the overloading of mini sub-stations.

“This has resulted in customer dissatisfaction. Eskom is planning to add an additional sub-station in the area to support the demand of electricity. We remain committed to ensuring that customers have a continuous supply of electricity,” said Eskom on Friday.

Eskom has not implemented load shedding for the past 11 months.
