Deputy President's Twitter account fake

Pretoria - The Presidency has warned the public that a fake Twitter account has been set up in the name of Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa.

“The Presidency wishes to place it on record that the Deputy President does not have a Twitter or any other Social Media Accounts,” spokesperson Ronnie Mamoepa said.

According to Mamoepa, they are in a process of requesting Twitter to shut down the fake account.

Mamoepa said all information pertaining to the Deputy President's activities will be updated on the official Presidency Accounts.
