President Zuma sends condolences to Buthelezi

Pretoria - President Jacob Zuma has conveyed his condolence to Inkatha Freedom Party leader, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi and his family after his son, uMntwana Phumaphesheya Gregory Buthelezi, passed away.

"The pain of losing a child is immense and immeasurable," said Zuma on Friday.

"On behalf of myself, Government and the people of South Africa, please accept our deepest condolences and may his soul rest in peace."

Buthelezi, 49, died at Durban's King George V Hospital after a long illness at age 49 on Wednesday.
