The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued a yellow level 2 heavy rain warning for KwaZulu-Natal.

Meanwhile, the remaining soldiers are expected to return later in the week.

“The SANDF in coordination with other relevant role players has worked tirelessly to ensure the safe return of our wounded members,” the statement read on Tuesday. 

South Africa has voted in favour of a General Assembly resolution, presented by the United States of America with amendments by the European Union, which reiterates that the principal purpose of the United Nations is to maintain international peace and security and to peacefully settle disputes.

On Monday, 24 February, the Minister of Communications and Digital Technologie, Solly Malatsi, in collaboration with the World Bank and GSMA, will host a high-level workshop focused on accelerating access to affordable smart devices for all South Africans.
