Zuma sends condolences to families of WC bus crash

Pretoria- President Jacob Zuma has conveyed his condolence to the families of the people who were killed in a road collision at the Hex River Pass near De Doorns in the Western Cape yesterday.

The crash, involving a bus carrying passengers from Johannesburg to Cape Town, reportedly claimed the lives of more than 20 people, with several others admitted to hospitals in critical condition.

"We are in absolute deep shock at this loss of human life on our roads. We also wish a speedy recovery to all those injured. Government agencies are already assisting the families in this dark hour.

"We express our heartfelt condolences on behalf of Government and the entire nation. May their souls rest in peace," said President Zuma. –SAnews.gov.za
