Pretoria – Water and Sanitation Minister Nomvula Mokonyane has sent condolences to the family of the driver of a water tanker in Msinga in UMzinyathi District Municipality.
The accident occurred on Tuesday.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the deceased during this time of grief.
“At the time of the accident, the water tanker was contracted to UMzinyathi District Municipality. It was not one of the department’s water tankers.
“The exact [cause] of the accident is still being investigated,” the department said in a statement. – SAnews.gov.za
