Pretoria - The National Treasury, in line with the Constitutional Court’s order, on Monday submitted its report on President Jacob Zuma’s homestead in Nkandla, the Ministry said on Monday.

The National Treasury was ordered, by the Constitutional Court in March, to calculate a reasonable cost of the non-security upgrades to President Zuma’s Nkandla home.

They were given 60 days from then, which makes the deadline on Tuesday.

“The National Treasury, has in line with the court’s order, submitted its report on the President’s homestead in Nkandla to the Court. All queries regarding the matter should be directed to the Court,” the Ministry said.

The non-security upgrades which were mentioned in Public Protector Thuli Madonsela's Secure in Comfort report included the swimming pool, chicken run, kraal and the amphitheatre. - SAnews.gov.za
