Johannesburg -Transport Minister Sibusiso Ndebele has reiterated that "no stone will be left unturned" in bringing the killers of South African National Taxi Council (Santaco) Deputy President, Mtutuzeli Molefe, to book.

"The long arm of the law will search for the killers, they will be arrested, they will be charged and sent to jail for a very long time," Ndebele told mourners at Molefe's funeral on Sunday.

Molefe was killed at the age of 57 last week. He was believed to have been leaving his house in Evaton in the Vaal on his motorbike when shots were fired from a silver vehicle. The motive for the killing is still unknown and police are investigating.

Ndebele said government was working closely with law enforcement agencies to ensure the swift arrest of the perpetrators. They will send a clear message to others that society will not tolerate this type of behaviour, he said.
