Pretoria - Two suspects linked to the murder of Major General Tirhani Maswanganyi will appear in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court today.
The two were arrested on Saturday, bringing to four the number of suspects in the case. Two others were arrested last week and have already appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court on Thursday. Their case was postponed to 8 July for a formal bail hearing.
Police have not ruled out the possibility of more arrest in the murder, as the investigation is still on-going.
The 52-year-old policeman's body was found just two weeks ago in a bushy area next to the road near Hammanskraal, north of Pretoria. The motive of his murder is still not known. He was laid to rest last Thursday in Temba, Hammanskraal. - SAnews.gov.za
