Striking workers are not our employees - Sanral

Pretoria - The South African National Roads Agency Limited (SANRAL) says striking workers in Johannesburg are employees of one of the agency’s service providers.

Sanral General Communications Manager, Vusi Mona, said: “We have been informed that the employees of one of our service providers have a labour dispute with their employer.

“The employees have submitted their memorandum to our Northern Region offices and SANRAL will forward these to the employer.”

Mona said the agency would try its best to ensure that services to road users are not affected. - SAnews.gov.za
