Special Envoys to Middle East Peace Process conclude terms

Pretoria - President Jacob Zuma has thanked Zola Skweyiya and Aziz Pahad whose terms as special envoys to the Middle East Peace Process have been concluded.

They were appointed in 2014, at the height of the Gaza War, as part of South Africa’s contribution to the international diplomatic efforts towards the resolution of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. 

The Presidency on Thursday said the Special Envoys were engaged in several rounds of consultations with countries in the Middle East, North Africa, and Southern Europe on how to revive the Middle East Peace Process. - SAnews.gov.za
