Pretoria - South African Airways Cargo (SAA Cargo) has been named as the African Cargo Airline of the year, said SAA.
SAA Cargo which is a division of the national carrier SAA was presented with the award at the recent Air Cargo Africa 2013- the second biennial International Air Logistics Conference and Exhibition organized by STAT TIMES, an international multimodal transport media house.
The recipients of the awards are nominated and voted for by the worldwide readers of STAT TIMES via an online poll.
“We are honoured and proud that we have been recognised by the air cargo industry. The award puts us on a platform where we are rated with the best in the world. We remain committed to excel and continue to provide world class freight forwarding services to all our customers,” said general manager of SAA Cargo Tleli Makhetha.
