SA to host BRICS Sharpas meeting

South Africa will host the first meeting of BRICS Sherpas and Sous-Sherpas in Cape Town on Monday. 

The meeting of the country representatives will be addressed by International Relations and Cooperation Deputy Minister Nomaindiya Mfeketo. It will be the first official meeting on the BRICS [Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa] calendar under the auspices of South Africa’s chairship. 

The meeting will discuss the working arrangements for BRICS in 2018. South Africa, as the host country for the BRICS 2018 Summit, will present its chairship priorities to its partners. 

South Africa will host the 10th BRICS Summit in Johannesburg in July 2018. – SAnews.gov.za
