Rumours on fishing rights allocations process clarified

Wednesday, February 3, 2016

Pretoria – Reports of an extension for the receipting dates of the fishing rights allocations process are not correct, says the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.

“The department wishes to state that these rumours are false and to place on record that there is no change to the receipting of application forms,” the department said.

The receipting process will take place from 1 February until the 12 February at 4pm.

Potential applicants are requested to lodge their applications by the cut off time at any of the 33 receipting centres around the country.

No late applications will be accepted. – SAnews.gov.za
