Rainy conditions set to stay

Pretoria - Rainy conditions are set to persist for the rest of the week across the country, says the South African Weather Services.

SA Weather Services Forecaster Linah Nqwenya said there will be isolated thunder showers during the day and late afternoons throughout the country.

"Most parts of the country will be partly cloudy with 30 percent chance of rain," she told BuaNews on Wednesday.

According to the Weather Services, temperatures will range from 14 to 28 degrees celsius.

Today, Gauteng will be fine becoming partly cloudy and warmer towards the afternoon.

Mpumalanga will also experience cloudy conditions with light rains, Limpopo partly cloudy and warm, North West partly cloudy with isolated thunder showers.

Ngwenya said similar weather conditions will be experienced in the Free State, Northern Cape, Western Cape, Eastern Cape and in KwaZulu-Natal.
