President Zuma wishes Mbeki's mother a speedy recovery

Pretoria - President Jacob Zuma has wished former President Thabo Mbeki's mother, Epainette Mbeki, a speedy recovery after she was admitted to an East London hospital.

The struggle veteran and wife of the late struggle icon, Govan Mbeki, was admitted to the hospital after she complained about shortness of breath. 

President Zuma says the prayers of the nation are with MaMbeki and the family at this time.

“The prayers of the nation are with MaMbeki and the family at this time. On behalf of government and the people of South Africa, I wish her a speedy recovery,” said President Zuma. - SAnews.gov.za
