Pretoria - The Presidency has described as incorrect media reports claiming that President Jacob Zuma met National Police Commissioner, General Riah Phiyega to discuss her redeployment.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Presidency spokesperson, Harold Maloka said: “The report in City Press newspaper today, 10 May 2015, to the effect that President Jacob Zuma met the National Police Commissioner General Riah Phiyega to discuss her redeployment is incorrect.
“President Zuma has not had a discussion at any time with General Phiyega with regards to removing her from her position or to deploy her in any other position," Maloka said.-SAnews.gov.za
