South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) beneficiaries in Mpumalanga have been encouraged to withdraw their monies using the new gold Sassa card or personal bank account to access their funds from Saturday.
“They can access their money at any ATM or Merchant stores that display the Visa sign around the country,” the provincial SASSA said.
Sassa has urged its beneficiaries, who are yet to migrate to the new SASSA gold card, to do so at any Sassa local office or post office.
Beneficiaries must have their old SASSA card and South African green barcoded ID book or smart ID card in order to be able to swap the old card for the new one.
