Morocco to host 2015 CAF Cup

Lubumbashi - Morocco has won the bid to host the 2015 African Cup of Nations following a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The meeting was held on Saturday in Lubumbashi, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Morocco, which last hosted the continental tournament in 1988, won the bid to host the 2015 edition over South Africa, their only rival.

South Africa was awarded the 2017 edition, the second to be staged in the country since 1996.
